Human Experience Designer

3 common words to create a not-so-common life.

I am a Human Experience Designer in three domains:

  1. Hospitality

  2. Academia

  3. Development

Hospitality

Hospitality is my happy place. There is something exhilarating about a business that has a limited time to create lifelong memories. I enjoy creating programs that allow teams to feel informed and empowered. In response, these teams create some of the most authentic human experiences. The other side of hospitality is the guest, client, or customer. For their enjoyment, I design brand standards so that the experience is natural, comforting, and easy to return to. Having worked with varying hospitality organizations, I have learned to understand the voice of their customer, create standards based on that data, and lead training for the new standards.

Academia

The first time I led a training, I realized how much I loved watching people learn. This inspired me to design more industry-related training and eventually pursue academics in a university setting. My lectures and courses are designed to allow students to explore not only their interests but inspire them to create. As the world evolves, I want to be an educator who has enabled their students to create the future of hospitality and not just work in it.

Development

One of the most incredible parts of hospitality is that anyone can walk in the door in an entry level position and walk out the CEO. There’s not many industries where that is still possible. Developing teams and cultures around this possibility is one of my favorite projects. My work has created internal pathways to development our own team members as well as finding external partners to supplement growth Outside of hospitality, this belief has also led me to become a Yoga Teacher and a Rabbi. Come join me on the mat weekly or check out the Rabbinical work at EHAD.
